Your Smile [Blue Album mix]
In May 1997, Prism set out to create one of the happiest, bounciest, most uplifting rave tracks ever recorded. The UK happy hardcore scene was at its peak between 1995 and 1997, with techno stabs, gabba kick drums and frantic piano riffs the norm. Using only a Roland W30 workstation, Prism came up with this track, originally entitled Hard Elements, which was renamed Your Smile and remixed into the well known Blue Album mix in July 1997. Later in the year the track went online and gave Prism his first exposure in the fledgling UK Internet dance scene.
Ten years on, Prism's piano hardcore anthem gets the remix treatment with this special anniversary release. Prism himself presents a happy hardcore remake, with Beat Doctor providing an electro house mix. Both the original Blue Album mix and the 1998 remix are also featured with remastered versions of the full mixes.
